The Global AI Standards Body (GAISB) today announced that students from more than 15 nations have now earned the GAISB AI Essentials certification, marking a major milestone in the organization's mission to set a single, verifiable global standard for practical AI skills.
Certified graduates now span five continents, from the Caribbean and North America to Europe, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific, reflecting a worldwide shift in how individuals and employers validate AI competence. As artificial intelligence reshapes every industry, employers are no longer asking whether candidates have “used AI.” They are asking for proof of what candidates can actually do with it. GAISB AI Essentials was built to answer that question.
Unlike theory-heavy academic programs, the GAISB AI Essentials certification is execution-driven. Candidates must demonstrate applied capability, working with generative AI tools, engineering effective prompts, building AI-assisted workflows, and applying responsible-AI principles, before earning the credential.
